Elaine Price, who lives in Jacksonville, Florida and works in South Georgia and Northeast & Central Florida, is an incredibly kind, passionate and dedicated Representative who we’re so proud to announce as our MVP.  Elaine’s commitment to the Company’s mission to help other people, especially through our nonprofit programs, is one of many reasons that she’s so deserving of this recognition.

She has five children – Lisa, Laura, Jennifer, David, & Phillip—plus seven teenage grandchildren. Elaine was introduced to Watertree Health through her late husband David Price, who had been a Rep for our company. She was inspired by his enthusiasm, connection to the company culture, and Make-A-Wish®. Together they shared a passion to help as many people, kids, and pets as possible.

Prior to coming on board, Elaine retired in March 2016 from her corporate job. She had worked in sales and customer service for a Fortune 500 packaging solutions and distribution company for 10 years. “When I started at Watertree Health, I couldn’t get over how great it was to connect with people out in the field, help others and be outside of an office. I was so elated,” she said.

2color_logo_URLThe recent addition of the ASPCA® program has been incredibly meaningful to Elaine. She has one dog, two cats and even cares for a feral cat colony in her Jacksonville neighborhood.

“When I moved there in 2003, I found an abandoned, pregnant cat. When the kittens were born, I spayed and fostered them. Now I have three cats outside that I take care of—they’ve actually adopted me!”

“I’ve met so many animal lovers through our program benefitting the ASPCA. It’s great to connect with people in my community who also help trap and release instead of euthanizing cats,” Elaine shared.

Connecting with people is what Elaine does best. On her first day working for the company, she met a Pharmacy Technician named Maggie. When Elaine showed her one of the wish stories, tears started rolling down her face. She explained that her critically ill nephew had received a wish. From that day on, she made a friend who also shares the mission to help as many wishes come true as possible.

Elaine also recognizes the importance of helping people take their medication as prescribed so they aren’t putting their health in danger. Also, that when people save even $1 or $2, it’s more money for essentials like food or gas. Out in the field, she once witnessed a senior couple about to walk away from filling their prescription, but thankfully our card came to the rescue. “Seeing their excitement and gratefulness is what it’s all about,” Elaine shared.

Trina, Elaine’s Director said, “Elaine’s dedication to this mission beams so bright. It has influenced her entire family to impact lives around them by being part of our cause. She is someone that will continue to be at the top of this company not only in production, but most importantly, in heart.”

“This company has the most compassionate, kind, heart-warming people I have ever worked with or for in my life. I’m proud to be a part of that – working for Watertree Health isn’t just about money. It’s about being a part of an amazing group of people. My favorite memory was the September 2015 President’s Club cruise to the Bahamas. I was just starting and David was over the moon that he had the opportunity to spend time with everyone. That was one of the best times,” Elaine said.

Thank you Elaine for all you do, especially continuing the legacy that you and David built to make a major impact on your community. We are so grateful!
